Speedy and Efficient
Efficient scheduling allows us to get in, do the job, and get out so the next phase of construction isn’t delayed. Most residential jobs have a 90-day or 120-day move-in target, and we do our best to keep the construction moving along. When we’re done, we leave behind a clean job site, as a courtesy to those who work after us.
Detailed and Accurate
Total Station layout is the robotic tool we use to measure and lay out angles of a house foundation. This technology gives us the detailed accuracy we need for pouring, and it takes the errors out in measuring by hand.
Strong and Dry
Poured concrete basements are stronger and drier than block wall basements, plus they’re quicker to install. On a residential job, we’re usually in and out in just one day. The most common wall heights for basements are 8 and 9 feet, but we can custom pour any basement height that our customers need. The basements have smooth finishes, without imperfections.
Dampproofing and Waterproofing
All our basements at Michiels Poured Walls are sprayed by our certified sprayers. We use a high-end product called Tru Dry which is a product offered from House Guard. A typical basement generally needs dampproofing only, but we also offer waterproofing. Waterproofing is used where poor soil conditions exist or water tables are higher.
